SUMMARY

The Event Concession Stand Worker is responsible for building relationships and providing a memorable customer service experience at events, festivals, and other off-site events. The Event Concession Stand Worker will also greet customers, answer questions, set up and clean workstations and equipment, and perform other duties to ensure that customer needs are satisfied, and the workstation is well-stocked and operating smoothly. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary depending on the location and requirements of the event and business needs. To be successful in this role, the Event Concession Stand Worker should be efficient and friendly with a focus on customer satisfaction and should be organized, decisive, and attentive. This position requires standing for long periods of time, lifting up to 50 lbs., and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide superior customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, making recommendations, accepting orders and payment.

• Ensure all food products are stored, handled, and served according to food safety policies and procedures to maintain compliance and quality standards.

• Load and transport items to events, festivals, and other off-site events and set up workstation including but not limited to display tables, tents, point-of-sale system, and advertising.

• Break down, clean, and sanitize workstation; load and transport items to designated store.

• Replenish items and ensure product is stocked to appropriate levels; may be required to coordinate with the closest store to obtain more items, if necessary.

• Maintain excellent service, positive demeanor, is friendly, efficient, and exhibits superior service towards customers, co-workers, and event coordinators.

• Represents Crumbl and the company in a positive light.

• Ensures security of company assets.

• Accurately operate the point-of-sale system and handle cash and electronic payments while following company policies for secure transactions and cash management.

• Performs other related duties as required or assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous food and/or customer service experience preferred.

• Comfortable working in a high performance, target driven environment while promoting service and efficiency.

• Must possess basic math and computer skills.

• Willingness to work independently or with other team members to solve problems, plan schedules, fulfill orders, and serve amazing baked goods.

• Flexibility to work around event calendar, including early morning, night, weekend, and holiday availability.

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• This role does not include direct supervisory responsibilities; however, employee is expected to work independently and take initiative to manager event operations effectively.


WORKING CONDITIONS

• Work is typically performed in a vehicle and outdoor environments, including in hot, cold, or inclement weather. Employee should be prepared for varying conditions and ensure proper precautions are taken.

• Employee is subject to prolonged periods of driving, standing, and walking.

• Work requires the use of using standard equipment including but not limited to point-of-sale terminals, computers, iPads, power sources, hand carts, and wagons.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to perform the basic life operational skills of climbing, stooping, bending, twisting, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, handling, grasping, talking, hearing and repetitive motions.

• Work is generally heavy work requiring employee to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Employee is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned, operate a computer terminal, perform extensive reading, and drive a motor vehicle. Hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels.

• Employees must use personal protective equipment as required as well as the Crumbl issued uniform.


SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Possession of a valid South Carolina Class D Driver’s License.

• Possession of Food Handlers Certificate, or ability to obtain prior to hire.

• Legally eligible to work in the United States.

• Must have reliable transportation and a willingness to travel to locations within established territory.

• Age 18 or older.
