JP Logistics & Consulting LLC (JPLC) is looking for a full time Project Manager (PM) to support the logistics support services for the Facilities Operations and Services Division/ Reservation Logistics Services Branch (Dock Master Office and Property Management) of the Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) and for the Office of the Secretary of Defense Joint Staff and Liaison Office.

Location / Place of performance: Washington, D.C.

Hours of Operation: 06:00- 16:00- Hours may vary pending customer requirements.


The Project Manager has overall responsibility for coordinating all technical activities and project tasks required under this Performance Work Statement (PWS). The PM ensures that all work is executed in accordance with contract requirements, technical standards, and Government directives.



Duties:

  • Provide technical expertise to support Government programs, including facilities operations, logistics coordination, and resource management.
  • Maintain awareness of technical details across all project disciplines to identify developing issues, risks, or deficiencies.
  • Initiate and implement corrective actions to resolve technical and operational problems.
  • Lead, supervise, and direct personnel assigned to the project, ensuring compliance with contract performance standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact (POC) for the Government customer regarding all contract-related matters.
  • Respond to and resolve customer service requests, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional support.
  • Monitor project performance, develop reports, and ensure deliverables meet quality, schedule, and cost requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal regulations, agency policies, and contract terms.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and Government stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

  • Ten (10) years of industry experience in overseeing facility/logistics management of at least one (1) project in complex facility and logistics.
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration in Operations Management; Logistics and Supply Chain Management or Supply Chain Management Logistics with five (5) years of industry experience in overseeing facility/logistics management of at least one (1) project of similar complexity to the work in facility and logistics.

OR

  • Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification with five (5) years of industry experience in overseeing facility/logistics management of at least one (1) project of similar complexity to the work stated in the PWS.

Other requirement(s):


  • Valid drivers license from a state of the United States
  • Active Material handling equipment (MHE) certified
  • Active OSHA certified
  • Active Forklift certified
  • Obtain and maintain Common access card (CAC)
