We are looking to hire a Database Integration and Reporting Specialist based in our Pittsburgh, PA office. This role requires regular in-office collaboration to support operations, accounting, and IT teams.
Role Summary
The Database Integration and Reporting Specialist designs, develops, and maintains operational, financial, and management reports using data from a variety of sources, including the ERP system, Trimble Vista. This role partners with operational divisions and shared services to deliver accurate reports, lead system integrations, and automate workflows to improve data sharing across teams.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain standard and ad-hoc reports from the ERP system

Write and optimize SQL queries, views, and stored procedures to extract and transform data

Collaborate directly with business users to gather reporting requirements and define data definitions

Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reports

Create dashboards and analytical visualizations using reporting tools (SSRS, Power BI, Crystal Reports, Tableau, or ERP-native tools)

Document report logic, data sources, and business rules

Troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies or performance issues

Support ERP upgrades, enhancements, and data model changes as they relate to reporting

Work with Corporate Accounting and IT to provide access to ERP and Project Management Systems
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience)

3–5 years of ERP reporting experience, preferably with Viewpoint Vista

Strong SQL Server experience (T-SQL, joins, aggregations, performance tuning)

Ability to translate business requirements into accurate technical solutions

High attention to detail and data integrity
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in construction or electrical contracting environments

Experience building dashboards and executive reporting in Power BI
