Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to gain a comprehensive understanding of each patient's trauma history, risks, and treatment needs.

  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery using evidence-based methodologies, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that promote healing and build coping mechanisms, guiding clients through their recovery journey.
  • \n

  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, integrated care for our patients.
  • \n

  • Provide immediate crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring effective management of acute stress responses.
  • \n

  • Educate both patients and their families regarding trauma responses and coping strategies, enhancing support systems beyond therapy.
  • \n

  • Maintain up-to-date and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • \n

  • Participate in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to discussions about best practices and the latest research in trauma-informed care.
  • \n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including childhood abuse, domestic violence, and other distressing life events. Our clientele often presents with PTSD, complex trauma, and related mental health challenges. Your role will be crucial in providing a compassionate therapeutic presence, guiding these individuals toward healing and empowerment.

Qualifications\n

  • Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
  • \n

  • Strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment approaches.
  • \n

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate, patient-centered communication style.

  • Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and other telehealth technologies.
  • \n

Preferred Experience\n

  • A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience focusing on trauma-related therapies.

  • Demonstrated expertise in delivering trauma-focused interventions, including EMDR and TF-CBT.

Compensation and Benefits\n
