Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced EPA-Certified Maintenance Technician to handle HVAC troubleshooting, routine repairs, and general apartment maintenance. This role supports daily work orders, preventive maintenance, make-ready tasks, and overall property upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems (EPA 608 required).
• Complete resident work orders efficiently and professionally.
• Perform preventive maintenance: filter changes, coil cleaning, equipment checks.
• Address plumbing issues (sinks, toilets, leaks, faucets, disposals).
• Perform basic electrical repairs (outlets, switches, light fixtures, fans).
• Repair and install appliances (stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave).
• Handle drywall, texture matching, painting, and minor carpentry.
• Complete unit turns and make-ready tasks.
• Assist with grounds and common area upkeep as needed.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency maintenance.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and documented accurately.

Requirements

• EPA Section 608 Certification (Type II or Universal).
• 1–3+ years of apartment, residential, or HVAC maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical maintenance tasks.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Preferred (Not Required)

• CAMT certification.
• Experience with Yardi, RealPage, or other work order systems.
• Formal HVAC or maintenance training.
