  • Strategic Counseling: Partner closely with clients to understand the nuances of their unique workplaces, providing daily compliance counsel, conducting internal investigations, and drafting employment-related policies and agreements.
  • Labor Relations Advocacy: Represent and advise employer clients on labor relations matters, navigating modern workplace disputes and appearing when needed before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).
  • Collaborative Execution: Deliver efficient, proactive legal solutions as a key member of a multidisciplinary team, working seamlessly across offices and disciplines to meet the evolving needs of clients across a wide range of industries.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3-4 years of demonstrated employer-side employment and labor litigation experience. Background in non-compete litigation and experience counseling employers is highly preferred.
  • Academic Background: JD from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials, excellent technical skills, and high-level legal research capabilities.
  • Bar Admission: Active member in good standing of the bar in the jurisdiction you plan to practice (NJ or CT). Additional admission to NY, PA, or MA is a plus.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, effective problem-solving capabilities, a team-oriented mindset, and the ability to work independently and proactively to develop creative solutions.

Why This Opportunity?

  • Regional & National Prestige: Join an established, multi-office firm of approximately 330 attorneys with deep-rooted history, working alongside recognized leaders in the field within a highly supportive, nurturing environment.
  • Professional Growth: Take on complex challenges with mentoring and support along the way to hone your skills, gain direct client contact, and reach your career goals.
  • Competitive Compensation: Expected annual base salary range of $180,000 – $220,000 (varied based on location, experience, skills, and internal equity), complemented by consideration for a discretionary merit bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
