What you’ll tackle
- Provide technical leadership to enhance reliability across critical manufacturing equipment.
- Own reliability excellence initiatives and deliver projects that increase uptime and overall equipment effectiveness.
- Analyze production losses and outlier maintenance costs to target chronic offenders.
- Lead root cause investigations and implement permanent fixes to prevent recurrence.
- Develop and optimize PM/PdM strategies leveraging vibration, thermography, ultrasonic testing, and oil analysis.
- Partner on Management of Change to ensure new/modified equipment is reliable and maintainable from day one.
- Collaborate with Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, and Automation to resolve near-term issues and build long-term resilience.
- Advance safety, maximize availability, and position assets to support strategic growth plans.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts across the site.
What you bring
- BS in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical or related preferred).
- 5+ years in manufacturing, engineering, or maintenance roles.
- Lean/Six Sigma certification preferred; hands-on with 6S, Kaizen, and Operational Excellence.
- Strong statistical and data analysis capabilities.
- Clear, confident communicator who can coordinate diverse teams.
- High energy, positive attitude, and change-leadership skills.
- Organized and disciplined approach to prioritization.
- Mechanical/electrical savvy; adept with RCA, FMEA, and 5-Why.
- Comfort making sound decisions in complex, rapidly changing situations.
- Ability to give constructive feedback and translate complex topics into simple, actionable steps; strong facilitator/presenter.
Where you’ll work
- Fast-paced plant environment with multiple deadlines and shifting priorities.
- Conditions may include dust, oil, grease, heat/humidity, fumes, and noise.
- PPE required in production areas (safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection as needed).
- Occasional work in walled containment and on roofs; some areas may be very hot or cold.
