This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge electrical systems, pitch systems, and power electronics while contributing to sustainable energy solutions that power communities nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support wind turbine operations and maintenance with focus on electrical systems up to 690VAC/230VDC
- Troubleshoot and optimize pitch systems, motors, drives, and power electronics
- Apply advanced engineering techniques to modify and extend standard practices
- Plan and conduct independent evaluations requiring sound technical judgment
- Develop innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges
- Adapt standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to unique operational scenarios
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal turbine performance
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 2-5 years of relevant engineering experience
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, motors, and drive systems
- Experience with power electronics and control systems
- Proven ability to independently evaluate and solve technical problems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong communication skills for technical documentation and collaboration
