Responsibilities:

- Provide technical, managerial, and administrative direction for VOIP infrastructure problem definition, analysis, requirements development, and implementation.
- Troubleshoot performance issues, analyze voice traffic, and deliver capacity planning solutions.
- Configure, deploy, and maintain VTC endpoints including Poly Group Series, Cisco, Surface Hub, Microsoft Teams Rooms, and Zoom Rooms.
- Monitor and manage backend systems such as RealPresence Resource Manager (RPRM), ISE, Active Directory, and scheduling tools.
- Perform firmware updates, patch management, and endpoint re-certification.
- Ensure compliance with network standards including VLANs, QoS, firewall traversal, and security policies.
- Diagnose and resolve complex audio, video, and network issues affecting VTC systems.
- Provide user support for live meetings and respond to tickets with on-site or remote assistance.
- Coordinate with vendors for advanced troubleshooting and hardware replacement.
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot cross-platform UC interoperability across Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet via SIP/CVI and CVI gateways.
- Integrate VTC solutions with collaboration platforms and conduct system testing including network assessments, A/V quality checks, and IPv6 compatibility.
- Validate and deploy certificates for endpoint security, manage TLS/SRTP, PKI/CSR, DNS/SRV, and trust chains.
- Create and maintain SOPs for setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance workflows.
- Conduct end-user training on VTC operations and meeting management.
- Support large-scale deployments, field office upgrades, and new installations, participating in project planning and execution.

- Deep expertise with Poly Clariti components (DMA, RPRM, RPCS) and enterprise SIP/H.323 call control.
- Proven cross-platform UC interoperability engineering across Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet using SIP/CVI and CVI gateways such as Pexip or RealConnect.
- Hands-on configuration, registration, integration, upgrades, certificate management, and troubleshooting of Poly, Cisco WebEx devices, Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Google Meet hardware, and Surface Hub.
- Enterprise-level security and network integration experience including TLS/SRTP, PKI/CSR, DNS/SRV, and DMZ/firewall traversal.
- Cloud and collaboration migration experience, including Teams to Google Workspace transitions, SIP/H.323 retirement, and Clariti decommissioning.
- Strong networking knowledge of TCP/IP, SIP, H.323, RTP, VLANs, QoS, and firewall configurations for VTC.
- Integration experience with backend systems such as RPRM, ISE, and Active Directory.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex audio, video, and network issues with hands-on troubleshooting of hardware, peripherals, and software.
- Experience providing technical support, training end users, and simplifying technical concepts.
- Field experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting VTC systems in offices and remote sites.
- Vendor coordination to resolve hardware and software issues and implement solutions.
- Documentation skills to create SOPs and record maintenance and support activities.
- Excellent written and oral communication, organizational skill, and ability to work under pressure during live meetings.
- 10+ years of experience in video teleconferencing support or a related IT field; prior federal or enterprise experience is a plus (preferred).

- Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification.
- Poly Certified Video Conferencing Engineer (PCVE) certification.
- ITIL Foundation certification.
