Little Beans is a well-regarded home family daycare servicing families of children aged two and under located in Park Slope, Brooklyn. We are seeking an afternoon daycare assistant to join our community of early childcare professionals, friends, and families. This is a great opportunity for early childhood educators, students, and those looking to continue their career in education!
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage with toddlers in a safe, supportive environment
- Assist with snack time, clean-up, and daily routines, including toileting and diapering
- Plan and participate in age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive growth
- Collaborate with lead caregiver to maintain a positive, welcoming environment
- Adhere to daycare policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned, as necessary

Requirements:
- Can work Monday - Friday from 3pm-6pm
- Have 1-2 years of experience working with children
- Possess a H.S. Diploma or GED
- Interest in Early Childhood Education and Child Development
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Be team-oriented, energetic, creative and nurturing
- Have excellent attendance and punctuality
**As per the Department of Health Regulations, a clearance check and medical will be required for employment.
