What You’ll Do
Lead & Inspire
- Guide and grow the Minnesota K12 team.
- Mentor emerging architects in design, production, and technical coordination.
- Lead the development and execution of construction documents.
- Collaborate closely with internal architects, engineers, and clients.
Design with Impact
- Drive projects from concept through construction administration.
- Attend client and project meetings as a trusted design leader.
- Apply strong technical detailing and specification expertise.
- Ensure compliance with IBC, Life Safety Code, ADA, and architectural standards.
Elevate the Practice
- Strengthen client relationships and represent the firm with professionalism.
- Help shape strategic growth in Minnesota’s K12 market.
- Contribute to a culture of collaboration, transparency, and excellence.
What You Bring
- 10+ years of experience in a design firm.
- 5+ years of dedicated K12 experience.
- Strong background in design, construction documents, and construction administration.
- Minnesota architectural license (or reciprocity eligibility).
- 4- or 5-year professional degree in Architecture or related field.
- Proven leadership and mentoring experience.
- Deep knowledge of building codes, life safety, and ADA requirements.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Bluebeam, Procore, SketchUp, and related tools.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and remotely when needed.
- Willingness for occasional local travel.
- A genuine passion for architecture and educational design.
