As a Solution Consultant, you will directly impact our vision and mission of helping students succeed by partnering with team members across functions throughout the company to generate revenue. This full-time position reports to the VP of Sales, and your primary objectives will be to:
- Work with the sales team (AEs and CSMs) to craft and deliver storified product and technical demonstrations tailored to a prospects specific needs and goals uncovered during the discovery process to secure new customers and drive new ARR.
- Provide product and sales enablement training to Sales and CSM team members as necessary to help facilitate team learning.
- Partner with the product managers and the product marketing team to ensure that the Ready Education demo instance is consistently updated and maintained to provide the best possible user experience.
- Communicate with our Product team to relay competitive analysis and encourage product enhancements.
- You will frequently have conversations with various leaders (departmental to CIOs) at Higher Education institutions about their goals and objectives regarding student success, retention, engagement, and mental health. You must be comfortable with and excited to help these leaders shape the future of the college experience.
Overview
- The Solution Consultant reports to the VP of Sales and Enablement
- Works closely with VP of Sales and fellow Sales Consultants to guide strategy and tenor of product demonstrations for the Ready Education portfolio.
- Develops a full and deep understanding of CampusGroups/Ready Campus integrations (e.g., SIS, LMS, CRM) as well as a conversational ease in describing these integrations and dependencies to prospective customers in a manner that instills confidence in the technical abilities and extensibility of the platform.
- Exceptional technical proficiency and high level of comfort learning new features, new applications, APIs, and advanced technical integrations.
- High customer EQ, high energy and positive personality and the ability to read a situation, people and groups of people to ensure the optimal outcome for the customer and Ready Education
Qualifications
- Experienced customer-facing GTM professional who is comfortable with prospect and customer interactions and enjoys engaging with new people
- Previous experience with Campus Groups or similar products (Engage, Pathify, Presence)
- Strong ability to present and articulate complex technical functionality to a wide audience, including expertise in SSO, API integrations, data warehousing, and reporting.
- Having worked in Higher Education with the ability to understand customer pain points and requirements, and correlate potential business to value.
- Strong and professional communication skills -- Active listening, written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Aptitude to manage numerous requests and time demands concurrently
- A gifted storyteller able to show live examples of current platform best practices, leaning on real-life HiEd examples
- Promotes a strong sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables. Acts without being told what to do. Brings new ideas to the team.

- BA/BS degree minimum
- Travel expectations are 25% or your time for onsite prospect visits, roadshows and conferences.
Responsibilities for the position
- Perform product demonstrations of the CG & RC platform for prospective customers
- Storify the demonstration of critical features and technology of a) student journey and b) administrative journey
- Work collaboratively with Account Executives and Solutions Consultants to offer them training and improved competence with the platform
- Work closely with the product and engineering teams to maintain a high level of product and product roadmap knowledge, build demo pathways for new features,
- Collaborate with both product marketing and product and engineering teams to ensure that the demo instance is up to date and fully functional and unused portions of the demo instance are removed (web and mobile).
- Assist the Manager of Proposals to complete product questions in RFPs, RFIs and follow-up to prospects..
- Assist in training newly hired employees on the CG and RC platform

Although this role is 100% remote, the person in this position should be expected to travel for certain customer/industry/company events and engagements as necessary.
