We are looking for a motivated Attorney to join a respected and expanding law firm in Southfield, Michigan. The ideal candidate will have experience in civil litigation and a solid understanding of medical malpractice cases. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior associates and partners on diverse legal matters, providing excellent growth and learning potential.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough legal research and draft pleadings, motions, written discovery, and legal memoranda.
• Develop and present well-reasoned legal arguments in support of client cases.
• Represent clients at hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
• Communicate effectively with clients to address their needs and provide legal guidance.
• Collaborate with opposing counsel on procedural and substantive legal issues.
• Manage a diverse caseload with attention to deadlines and quality of work.
• Work closely with senior associates and partners to strategize and execute litigation plans.
• At least one year of experience in civil litigation, with exposure to medical malpractice preferred.
• Active license to practice law in the state of Michigan.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple cases effectively.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with team members.
