Job Overview
We are seeking reliable and hardworking Warehouse Lumpers to assist with unloading and organizing freight from shipping containers and trailers. This is a physically demanding position ideal for individuals who are comfortable working at a fast pace and performing repetitive lifting.
This position is paid per container unloaded, providing an opportunity to earn based on completed work.
Responsibilities
- Unload boxes, cartons, and merchandise from shipping containers and trailers.
- Manually handle and move products safely and efficiently.
- Stack and organize products according to company requirements.
- Build stable and secure pallets while unloading freight.
- Inspect products for visible damage and report issues to a supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow proper lifting techniques and all warehouse safety procedures.
- Work efficiently to meet container unloading and productivity expectations.
- Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding freight and workload.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, unloading, loading, or lumping experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform heavy and repetitive physical work.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Must be able to safely handle and move boxes and merchandise throughout the shift.
