Schedule: Evening Hours (Part-Time)

Position Overview

Early Start Childcare is looking for an enthusiastic and responsible Evening Preschool & After-School Caregiver to support children during the evening program. This role includes implementing planned activities, supervising children, and ensuring classrooms are prepared for the next day.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage preschool and school-age children during evening hours
  
  
• Implement assigned activities, lessons, and routines
  
  
• Foster a positive, safe, and structured environment
  
  
• Assist children with homework, enrichment activities, and transitions
  
  
• Clean and organize the classroom before departure to prepare for the next day
  
  
• Follow center policies and communicate effectively with leadership
  
  
• Occasionally assist with closing the building alongside the evening supervisor, as needed
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience working with preschool and/or school-age children preferred
  
  
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
  
  
• Dependable and able to work evening shifts
  
  
• Ability to follow activity plans and daily expectations
  
  
• Must meet state childcare licensing requirements
