Property Manager – Affordable Housing
Location: Superior, WI
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $30.00 – $32.00 per hour
A well-established property management organization is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Property Manager to oversee the operations of an affordable housing community in Superior, WI. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in Section 8 and LIHTC (Tax Credit/Section 42) programs.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the property, ensuring compliance with affordable housing regulations
- Supervise and support onsite office and maintenance staff
- Maintain accurate resident files, reports, and compliance documentation
- Coordinate maintenance requests, repairs, and vendor relationships
- Market and lease available units to qualified applicants
- Collect rent and manage resident accounts with a focus on reducing delinquency
- Ensure excellent resident relations and handle inquiries professionally
- Report on property performance and meet organizational goals
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in affordable housing (Section 8 and LIHTC) – required
- Strong understanding of PBS8, LIHTC/Section 42, and Fair Housing regulations
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Experience with RealPage and OneSite is preferred
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Location Requirement:
Must be able to reliably commute to or relocate to Superior, WI prior to start date.
