On our team, you will work will Booz Allen colleagues, other support contractors, and U.S. Space Force personnel to develop and deploy the next generation of strategic military satellite communications capabilities. You will be an integral part of the engineering branch to assist the government as the lead systems integrator ensuring the space, ground, and crypto segments are integrated successfully to meet user's needs. You will provide direct support to the chief engineer and manage the Booz Allen engineering team supporting the program office. Your expertise and innovative thinking will be critical to ensuring capabilities are delivered to meet the threat.

You Have:

    \n
  • 12+ years of experience performing systems engineering or integration in DoD satellite systems or ground systems
  • \n

  • 5+ years of experience with space system and DoD program reviews, including SRR, SDR and SFR, PDR, CDR, MRR, TRR, FCA, PCA
  • \n

  • 2+ years of experience performing the risk management process on space-related ground, sof tware, or hardware system Major Defense Acquisition Programs
  • \n

  • Experience identifying, analyzing, and proposing program risks, issues, and opportunities and managing handling plans
  • \n

  • Experience using Micro sof t Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • \n

  • Experience using a Model-Based Systems Engineering or Digital Engineering approach to manage system definitions and technical baselines
  • \n

  • Ability to be highly motivated, display a dynamic work ethic, and contribute to the DoD mission
  • \n

  • Ability to effectively communicate, work independently and collaboratively on a cross-functional team, and demonstrate initiative to complete complex tasks to achieve program goals in a fast-paced environment
  • \n

  • Secret clearance
  • \n

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science
  • \n

Nice If You Have:

    \n
  • 2+ years of experience with Military Satellite Communications Mission area
  • \n

  • 2+ years of experience with space acquisition
  • \n

  • Experience with a sof tware program utilizing Agile methodologies
  • \n

  • Experience with Confluence or JIRA
  • \n

  • Experience working with sof tware factories or DecvSecOps pipelines
  • \n

  • Ability to learn and solve problems quickly and creatively
  • \n

  • Top Secret clearance
  • \n

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science
  • \n

  • Agile Certification such as CSM, CPO, PMI-ACP, or ICP Certification
  • \n

  • INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certifications such as ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP Certification
  • \n

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
