Requirements:

- Associate degree in Radiologic Technology required
- ARRT certification in both Radiography (RD) and Computed Tomography (CT) required
- Completion of CT technology certificate program preferred
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
- Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in both Radiology and CT
- Ability to float between X-Ray and CT departments as needed

Responsibilities:

- Review patient history and physician orders to prepare for imaging procedures
- Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation
- Prepare and administer contrast media and medications as ordered, within scope of practice
- Monitor patient condition continually and respond appropriately to changes in status
- Position patients and perform imaging procedures according to established protocols
- Implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures on equipment
- Analyze imaging results, identify quality issues, and take corrective action
- Enter, transmit, and report scan results accurately and in a timely manner
