Aegis is currently partnering with a stable long-standing manufacturer in St. Charles to identify a CNC Operator to join their growing team!
 
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Operate a plasma cutting machine to produce steel parts based on simple blueprints and preloaded programs.</li>
<li>Manage the full process of each job, from loading material and running the machine to finishing</li>
<li>Receive a list of jobs at the start of the shift and is expected to pick up where the previous shift left off, ensuring parts are completed accurately and efficiently.</li>
<li>Hands-on finishing work, such as grinding, sanding, cleaning edges from plasma cutting, marking parts, and delivering finished components to welding or storage areas</li>
</ul>
 
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>1-4+ years of experience operating a CNC Machine</li>
<li>Ability to read and interpret basic blueprint drawings</li>
<li>Experience working with basic tools - tape measures, squares, or protractors.</li>
<li>Ability to work within basic tolerances (approximately ±1/16 inch).</li>
