Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active OT license in South Carolina (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in a school setting highly preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and execute individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for all students
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students with varied needs
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans addressing fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
- Document progress, maintain detailed records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide consultation and strategies to classroom staff
- Engage in ongoing professional development
