Quality Assurance Associate

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Associate to join our team. This role involves adherence to SOPs and FDA Good Manufacturing Practices, ensuring meticulous document control and compliance with GLP/GMP regulations. The associate will assist with animal health checks, operating room and necropsy procedures, and maintain animals while maintaining strict documentation control.

Responsibilities

  • Perform document control activities in compliance with FDA Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Assist with animal health checks and maintain animal welfare.
  • Participate in operating room and necropsy procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to GLP/GMP regulations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation throughout the manufacturing process.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in biology or a similar field.
  • 1+ years of documentation experience in a regulated environment, ideally pharmaceutical or medical device.
  • 6+ months of experience in animal husbandry.
  • Understanding of GMP/GLP regulations and practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a facility that conducts animal research (IACUC).
  • Comfortable being on feet most of the day.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Swine husbandry experience.
  • Previous experience working in an FDA-regulated environment.
  • Veterinary technician or veterinary assistant certification.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $26.00/hr.
