Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Property Management Assistant to join our team. This multifaceted role combines administrative and leasing support with professional cleaning services for our residential property portfolio.
Primary Responsibilities
Administrative & Leasing Support:
- Manage and update rental listings across multiple advertising platforms
- Maintain digital calendars and scheduling systems
- Conduct apartment showings for prospective tenants
- Communicate professionally with current and prospective tenants
- Process and organize rent payments and related documentation
- Coordinate repairs/maintenance with vendors.
Cleaning & Maintenance:
- Perform thorough apartment turnovers between tenant move-outs and move-ins
- Maintain common areas, including weekly hallway cleaning
- Ensure all units meet company standards for cleanliness and presentation
- Respond to increased cleaning demands during peak turnover season (May-August)
Schedule
- Flexible schedule distributed across 4-5 days per week
- Hours vary based on property needs and turnover volume
- Increased cleaning hours during peak rental season (May-August)
Required Qualifications
- Reliable personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided)
- Proficiency with computers, including calendar management and online platforms
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Non-smoker
Compensation & Location
- Paid via payroll (W-2 position)
- Hourly rate - tell us your desired rate
- Mileage reimbursement for travel between properties
- Properties located in Squirrel Hill, near Forbes and Murray area
- Travel required between nearby locations (approximately 1 mile radius)
