Job DescriptionSecurity Guard (Unarmed) – Phoenix Area - $17/hr.
About the RoleWe’re seeking motivated individuals who are interested in or experienced with unarmed and/or overnight security to join our team for a variety of upcoming sporting events, festivals, concerts, and more!
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor for irregularities such as security breaches, safety hazards, or emergencies; promptly contact emergency responders as needed.
- Stay alert for unauthorized persons or suspicious activity; engage appropriately or notify law enforcement as required.
- Conduct patrols—on foot or by vehicle—to ensure the safety and security of personnel, facilities, and equipment.
- Inspect doors, windows, and gates to maintain site security; lock/unlock buildings and monitor closed areas for unauthorized access.
- Prepare detailed, accurate incident and activity reports.
- Provide escorts for staff or guests when necessary.
- Enforce rules and regulations, addressing infractions such as loitering or carrying prohibited items.
Qualifications
- Current Arizona Guard Card (required)
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
- No felonies or misdemeanors within the past 5 years
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Physically capable of walking and climbing stairs for extended periods.
- Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Understand and apply company and client-specific policies with sound judgment.
- Maintain accurate records and respond effectively in emergencies.
- Must be comfortable working solo during overnight shifts.
