Armed Security Officers – Act 235 Required

Location: Bala Cynwyd, PA
Pay: $33.00 per hour
Shift:
Monday through Friday – 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday morning services as required
The Mission
Serve as a trusted safety partner in a faith-based environment, maintaining a safe, calm, and violence-free campus while building credibility with visitors, staff, and administrators. Strong officers project confidence without fear, de-escalate conflict early, stay composed under pressure, and respond decisively when required.
What You’ll Do
Maintain a professional presence and conduct proactive campus patrols
Use calm verbal de-escalation to manage conflicts and disruptions
Act as a capable first responder during emergencies
Build professional relationships while maintaining clear boundaries
Write clear, factual incident reports and support operational excellence
Requirements
Minimum five years of Armed Security experience
Military, or law enforcement, or armed school security experience is required
PA Act 235 Certification and PA Concealed Carry Permit
Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and professional demeanor
No disqualifying criminal history
Preferred
CPR/First Aid/AED
