Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our team supporting a critical government contract focused on Veteran Suicide Prevention Technical Assistance. This is a remote position that offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on veteran mental health and suicide prevention efforts nationwide.

About the Project
This position supports a Veteran Suicide Prevention Technical Assistance project working with a government contractor. You will play a vital role in developing and implementing technical assistance and training programs designed to prevent veteran suicide and support mental health initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of suicide prevention technical assistance and training programs
- Plan, coordinate, and manage logistics for events, workshops, and training sessions
- Design curriculum and build engaging training content for various audiences
- Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation related to project activities
- Coordinate with stakeholders, partners, and team members to ensure project success
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and administrative tasks
- Assist with the development of training materials and resources
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in suicide prevention technical assistance and training implementation and development
- Strong event planning, coordination, and logistics management skills
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum design and training content development
- Excellent report writing and documentation abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed for project requirements
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Planner
- Learning Management System (LMS) experience
- Licensed Social Work background highly preferred
- Veteran status highly preferred
