Corvid's Missile Defense Systems team is looking to add an experienced DevOps engineer to support a growing portfolio of software tasks supporting a variety of DoD and industry customers. This position will bring experience developing and deploying secure, scalable programs to sensitive environments. Candidate will be a critical component to deployment of Corvid's many computational tools and capabilities, ensuring the well documented and tested applications are easy to use and meet the needs of the customer.
This position will also help Corvid's software team set up and improve various processes that use modern infrastructure tools. Candidate will have the opportunity to work across teams and programs, helping improve the end products through a strong DevOps process.
Responsibilities & Tasking will include:
- Design, implement, maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
- Setup process improvements using different modern infrastructure tools
- Work closely with software team to streamline the build, test, and deploy workflows
- Support integration with testing frameworks and compliance scans, improving observability and incident response processes
- Work with Apptainer for containerized solutions
Requirements:
- Candidate must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance
- Position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or similar STEM field) and at least 3 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or similar roles
- Demonstrated experience with modern CI/CD tools (preferably GitLab), containers, and orchestration as well as familiarity with cloud platforms (preferred candidate will have AWS GovCloud experience)
- Strong scripting skills are required (preference for GO, Python or Bash)
- Understanding of security best practices in DevOps pipelines
- Experience with static analysis tools such as Fortify or SonarQube is a plus
- Preferred candidate will have experience working in highly restricted environments
- Exposure to infrastructure as code is preferred as well
