- Accurately translate, organize, and relay technical documents, drawings, BOMs, and sample requests from the US side back to the Haiyan engineering team, ensuring zero deviation in information.
- Engineering Coordination for Project Transfers:
- Assist project managers by providing engineering support for new projects designated for transfer to China for mass production.
- Coordinate engineering resources between China and the US to resolve technical issues during the product transfer process (such as material substitutions, process adaptations, test method alignment, etc.).
- Track the progress of engineering sample fabrication, testing, and validation, providing timely feedback to the US side and driving issue closure.
- Problem Solving & Communication Bridge:
- Act as the primary point of contact between the US and China engineering teams, promptly responding to technical inquiries from the US side and coordinating with the China engineering team to provide solutions.
- Report technical progress, risks, and issues for cross-site projects to engineering management in both China and the US on a regular basis.
- Organize and lead cross-time zone technical meetings, follow up on key action items, and ensure efficient and smooth communication at the engineering level.
- Customer Requirements & Technical Feedback:
- Gather engineering resource requirements for new projects (such as new materials, special processes, test equipment, etc.) from North American Business Units, summarize them, and provide timely feedback to China engineering management.
- Participate in technical exchanges with US customers to understand their pain points and future product trends, providing market input for China's engineering development.
- Onsite Support:
- Provide onsite engineering support at US sister companies (Nashua, NH/Valley Green, PA) as needed to assist in resolving technical issues during trial runs or sample production.
Requirements:
