Responsibilities
- Oversee daily service department operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and high-quality customer service
- Lead, train, and support service advisors, technicians, and support staff
- Manage workflow, repair orders, scheduling, and shop capacity to maximize throughput
- Maintain strong customer relationships and handle escalated concerns with professionalism
- Ensure all repairs and services meet dealership, manufacturer, and safety standards
- Monitor department performance, including CSI scores, profitability, and productivity metrics
- Collaborate with parts and sales departments to ensure seamless operations
- Manage warranty claims, documentation, and compliance with manufacturer guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe service environment
- Drive departmental growth through process improvement and customer satisfaction initiatives
Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive service management or senior advisor role
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills
- Solid understanding of automotive repair processes, shop operations, and manufacturer standards
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage escalations
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- OEM or ASE certifications preferred but not required
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Knowledge of Ford products, services, and warranty procedures is a strong plus.
