Role

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair public address (PA) and communication systems in hospital and healthcare environments. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician who enjoys troubleshooting, working independently, and supporting critical systems where reliability matters.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and maintain hospital public address (PA) and related communication systems
• Diagnose and repair system issues including amplifiers, speakers, paging controllers, cabling, and network components
• Perform preventive maintenance and system testing to ensure compliance and uptime
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and system documentation
• Work on-site in active hospital environments while following safety and infection-control protocols
• Document service calls, repairs, and installations accurately
• Communicate professionally with hospital staff, project managers, and internal teams
• Experience in field service, low-voltage systems, AV, telecom, or similar technical role
• Strong troubleshooting skills with audio, paging, and/or communication systems
• Experience with low-voltage wiring and cable termination
• Familiarity with nurse call systems and manufacturers such as Rauland, AtlasIED, Valcom, Bogen, or similar
• Mechanical skills that apply to other projects/repairs that we perform for our clients.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally or regionally
• Ability to pass background checks required for hospital access
