Summary

The Project and Asset Coordinator supports plant changes, production line updates, and technology projects, while overseeing asset inventory and equipment tracking. This role supports cost reduction, efficiency, and network optimization by managing projects and assisting teams to deliver results on time and within budget.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Liaise between managers and team members, keeping stakeholders updated via reports and dashboards.
  • Maintain project documents, status reports, and metrics.
  • Monitor budgets, expenses, and resolve financial queries.
  • Work closely with Facility, Materials, Engineering, Logistics, and other teams to ensure project success.
  • Sets PO's, sends invoice, etc.
  • Needs someone who understands this process and can offer support since they don't have anyone right now super strong with this

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

  • Manage project schedules, delegate tasks, and monitor finances.
  • Create, update, and distribute project content for stakeholders.
  • Assist with risk assessment and mitigation planning.
  • Identify and escalate risks, issues, or other potential problems to the Senior Project Manager.
  • Capture notes and provide regular updates.

ASSET MANAGEMENT

    • Maintain asset inventory records and reports for all locations.
    • Organize, format, manipulate, and organize data for clarity and consistency
    • Coordinate with plants, leaders, and vendors on equipment and other asset transitions.
    • Locate, inspect, and tag equipment at various sites.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders, document decisions and actions, and ensure follow-up.

Position Qualifications

  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal abilities, adaptability to shifting priorities, and clear communication skills with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Possess strong organizational skills to efficiently manage schedules, tasks, and project documentation.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in managing and prioritizing multiple requests, adhering to deadlines, and managing individual work.
  • Apply analytical problem-solving skills coupled with originality and innovative thinking.
  • Display flexibility and thrive within dynamic organizational structures, collaborating effectively while also working independently when required.
  • Possess foundational knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Have a basic understanding of manufacturing operations, encompassing Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing, Lean principles, Safety, and/or Engineering disciplines.

Education/Experience

  • 1+ years' experience in product or lean manufacturing, supply chain, quality, engineering, or operations
  • 1+ years of project work; project management training preferred
  • Intermediate to advanced skills with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Experience creating sheets, projects, dashboards, and handling data in Smartsheet and/or PowerBI
  • Preferably experienced in consumer goods manufacturing

Major Relationships

  • The position will report in a matrix structure to both the Network Optimization Leader and the Engineering Functional Leader.
  • This role will collaborate with the Operations Leadership Team and Manufacturing Business Leaders.



Compensation:

$30/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
