Our organization is excited to announce an opening for a Family Medicine Physician at our SoLe Mia location. We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our team and provide exceptional care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive physician care typically offered in a primary care setting.
- Oversee all facets of patient care during your shifts.
- Guide and manage the clinical staff, including Medical Assistants and others.
- Collect and process biological specimens for laboratory testing.
- Ensure effective delivery of care, treatment, and referrals; coordinate with specialists not available at the clinic.
- Assess patients through physical examinations to establish diagnoses and develop treatment plans.
- Uphold high standards of medical practice while contributing to the training and growth of the medical team.
- Support the medical education of both patients and clinic personnel.
- Facilitate patient transitions within and between healthcare environments; manage referrals and discharges.
- Exemplify a positive attitude towards patients and staff, treating everyone with respect, dignity, and privacy.
- Contribute to the creation of clinic protocols and formulary; provide feedback on chart information forms.
- Document all procedures, prescriptions, consultations, and patient interactions in the patient's chart and clinic encounter forms within 24 hours.
- Advise patients on medical and other issues that may impact their health and well-being.
- Perform clinical procedures that align with your expertise and are economically viable for patient benefit.
- Lead and direct the clinic's medical support staff in patient care administration.
- Supervise case assignments for nurse practitioners and physician assistants, including chart sign-offs when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral Degree (MD or DO) and a valid Florida Physician License are mandatory.
- A minimum of three years of experience in Family Medicine is required.
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Family Medicine Residency Program.
- Board certification in Family Medicine is essential.
