Essential Duties and Responsibilities
-
Complete all assigned maintenance tasks in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with the Repair Station’s approved ratings, policies, and procedures.

Accurately complete all required documentation related to assigned tasks.

Communicate relevant updates to the Lead Mechanic for shift turnover and, if the Lead Mechanic is unavailable, enter updates into the NSA-MF-22 form.

Notify the Inspection Department when a task requires review or becomes an RII (Required Inspection Item).

Properly segregate and identify all removed components belonging to the repair station or customer.

Maintain an adequate inventory of tools necessary to perform assigned tasks, ensuring tools are in good condition and accounted for.

Return all tools to the tool room at the end of each shift.

Perform maintenance tasks according to job cards, engineering orders, maintenance manuals, and other approved technical documentation.

Understand and apply the relevant sections and chapters of the Repair Station Manual.

Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
Required Skills and Abilities
Physical Requirements:
-
Must be able to bend, stoop, crawl, climb (stairs and ladders), crouch, kneel, and lift items over 50 pounds.

Capable of prolonged standing (up to 8 hours), walking (up to 6 hours), and sitting (up to 2 hours).

Must have the ability to use hand tools, perform repetitive motions, and work in varied physical positions.

Vision must be sufficient to read technical manuals, drawings, blueprints, and work on digital devices.

Must be able to detect specific sounds (equipment operation), differentiate colors, and follow precise visual instructions.

Ability to comprehend, retain, and apply detailed oral and written instructions.

Capable of making decisions that affect immediate and adjacent work areas.

Able to organize and communicate technical information clearly and effectively.

Minimum Qualifications
-
Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate.
-
Minimum of three (3) years of documented, verifiable maintenance experience on transport category aircraft.
