Strategic Insight, LTD is seeking a Development Team and Solutions Architect Lead to help federal clients transform across People, Data, and Technology. In this role, you’ll lead a solutions architecture and development team supporting a complex, cross-functional organization focused on knowledge management, data architecture, and modern zero-trust governance.

What You’ll Do

You’ll play a pivotal role in guiding our client’s digital transformation journey—designing, building, and sustaining modern solutions using SharePoint, Power Platform, and peer SaaS environments.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead SharePoint and Power Platform solution architecture and development,
  • Design, deploy, test, and sustain solutions in medium- to large-scale environments,
  • Learn and lead implementation of new SaaS tools as client needs evolve,
  • Translate business needs into technical designs, specifications, and proposals,
  • Engage with customers through requirements sessions, demos, and recommendations,
  • Guide communications, training, and adoption tied to solution rollouts,
  • Assess client environments, document findings, and recommend improvements,
  • Identify, escalate, and resolve platform, access, automation, and performance issues,
  • Coordinate with migration teams to move and validate content when required,
  • Serve as a technical design authority, supporting benchmarking, configuration, deployment, and testing,
  • Partner with government stakeholders to propose analytic and technology solutions,
  • Promote best practices for data hygiene, literacy, documentation, and governance,

(Senior-Level) Responsibilities:

  • Lead a geographically distributed development team and manage large workstreams,
  • Provide expert, data-driven guidance on solution design and implementation,
  • Champion quality controls, automated governance, and reduced sustainment needs,
  • Develop strategies that optimize data quality, security, and process efficiency,
  • Support automation solution requirements and resolve stakeholder issues,
  • Lead technical training for users and partner developers,
  • Collaborate with service area leads to ensure platforms meet future needs,
  • Manage and document business and technical requirements to professional standards, and
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum / General Experience Requirements

  • Intermediate–advanced experience with:
    • Agile development and CI/CD pipelines
    • Microsoft 365 platform tools
    • SharePoint (advanced)
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and DAX
  • Experience with wireframing tools (Visio or equivalent)
  • Experience with 508 compliance and UI/UX best practices
  • Proven experience leading teams delivering M365 solutions including:
    • SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with DoD, Department of the Navy, or other federal agencies

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 5+ years of related experience
    (Additional experience may substitute for education)
