Position Overview

A high-volume, fast-paced frozen custard dessert concept is seeking a General Manager to lead operations in the Cedar Park market. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of store performance, including team leadership, guest experience, financial results, and operational execution.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on, high-energy leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads from the front, and is passionate about delivering exceptional service and product quality.


Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

  • Oversee daily store operations to ensure efficiency, cleanliness, and adherence to brand standards
  • Maintain exceptional product quality and consistency across all offerings
  • Ensure smooth execution during high-volume service periods

Team Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing team
  • Foster a positive, energetic, and team-oriented culture
  • Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and development opportunities
  • Lead by example with a strong presence on the floor

Guest Experience

  • Ensure an outstanding guest experience through friendly, fast, and accurate service
  • Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
  • Build a culture centered around hospitality and community engagement

Financial Performance

  • Manage P&L, labor costs, and inventory to achieve financial targets
  • Drive sales growth through operational excellence and local store marketing
  • Monitor key performance metrics and implement improvements as needed

Inventory & Cost Control

  • Oversee inventory levels, ordering, and waste control
  • Maintain strong cost management practices while ensuring product availability

Compliance & Standards

  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food handling regulations
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment


Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of restaurant or hospitality management experience
  • Prior experience in high-volume quick service, fast casual, or dessert concepts preferred
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams
  • Strong operational and financial acumen (P&L management experience required)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays


Preferred Experience

  • Experience managing in dessert, ice cream, or beverage-driven concepts
  • Multi-unit exposure or experience opening new locations is a plus
  • Strong community engagement or local marketing experience
