Now Hiring: Resort Hiring Manager
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a dynamic, people-driven Resort Hiring Manager to help shape the future of our talented team at our brand-new Spotsylvania, VA, property. In this role, you'll begin by supporting corporate recruitment initiatives across multiple properties, gaining valuable insight into company-wide systems and standards. After the ramp-up phase, you'll transition into leading full-cycle recruitment efforts for your assigned resort, helping to build the teams that create unforgettable guest experiences. As a leader, you’ll bring our Promise to life—supporting associates, inspiring teamwork, and delivering unforgettable guest experiences.
This is an hourly, on-site position based in our Spotsylvania, VA., employment office.
Hourly Wage: Starting at $19/hour, depending on qualifications
What You’ll Do:
- Full-Cycle Recruitment & Candidate Experience – Manage hiring from sourcing to onboarding, ensuring a smooth and professional process for hourly roles across resort departments.
- Collaboration & Talent Sourcing – Partner with department leaders, organize interviews and hiring events, and source candidates through multiple channels.
- Compliance & Metrics Management – Maintain ATS records, monitor hiring metrics, ensure adherence to labor laws and policies, and promote the resort as an employer of choice.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong knowledge of the hospitality industry, resort, or waterpark operations is preferred, with 2+ years of recruiting or HR experience, ideally in high-volume or seasonal hiring.
- Proficiency in ATS systems, virtual interview platforms, and excellent communication and organizational skills are essential to manage multiple openings and engage candidates effectively. Flexibility to work non-traditional hours and familiarity with hiring laws, EEO standards, and onboarding best practices ensure compliance and smooth hiring processes.
