The Lima Civil Service Board will conduct an open and competitive written
examination for the following position:

CONSTRUCTION & MAINTENANCE WORKER I
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS

Salary Range: Starting pay is $25.13 per hour

Job Responsibilities: Under general supervision, performs construction,
maintenance and repair functions; maintains personal and professional
competence and awareness.

Necessary Qualifications: The minimum acceptable qualifications for
this position are: Completion of high school education or GED and two
(2) years of construction or maintenance experience. Must obtain and
maintain in good standing a Class A Commercial Driver's License with no
airbrake restriction, and tanker endorsement, within ninety (90) days of
appointment.
