Job Description

We're hiring experienced Class A CDL Drivers for a local intermodal position serving the Inland Empire and Southern California. This opportunity offers daily home time, no-touch freight, multiple shift differentials, and consistent local work moving intermodal containers between rail yards, distribution centers, and customer locations.

Pay & Compensation

Average Weekly Earnings: $1,500–$1,600+
Average Annual Earnings: Approximately $87,000
Day Shift Pay: $17.60/hour
Night Shift Pay: $20.06/hour
Weekend Pay: $23.76/hour
Mileage Pay: $0.22 CPM
Weekly direct deposit

Additional activity-based compensation may be available depending on assignments.

Job Responsibilities

Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle
Transport loaded and empty intermodal containers
Pick up and deliver containers between rail ramps, customer facilities, and distribution centers
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Inspect chassis, containers, tires, lights, and securement equipment
Complete electronic logs and DOT paperwork
Communicate with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries
Follow all rail-yard and terminal safety procedures

Operating Area

Drivers primarily operate throughout the Inland Empire and Southern California, including:

Fontana
Bloomington
Rialto
Ontario
Rancho Cucamonga
San Bernardino
Colton
Riverside
Surrounding Southern California communities

Applicants must live within 40 miles of Fontana, CA (92337).

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL
Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class A tractor-trailer experience
Must live within the approved hiring area
Ability to pass DOT drug screening, background check, and MVR review
Comfortable operating in rail-yard and intermodal environments
Ability to safely navigate Southern California traffic
Strong commitment to safety and customer service
