Job Description

The Wood Agency is hiring work-from-home life insurance sales specialists in La Vista, NE to connect with people who have expressed interest in coverage, walk them through their options, and help them complete applications. This is a fully remote, work-from-home position. The role is open to candidates across all 50 states and built for people who already know how to sell by phone.

What you'll do

Reach out to people who have already asked about coverage and schedule a time to go through their situation
Ask questions to understand what a family actually needs before presenting anything
Walk clients through protection options by phone or video and complete applications together using carrier quoting and e-app tools
Log calls, notes, and follow-up tasks in the CRM as each conversation happens
Track open cases through the approval process and keep clients informed until a policy is issued
Stay current on products, carrier guidelines, and state insurance regulations through ongoing training

Qualifications

Comfortable running a full sales conversation by phone — from first contact to a completed application
Consistent about follow-up without needing someone to prompt you
Able to work in CRM tools and web-based platforms to log activity and manage open cases
Holds a state life insurance license, or prepared to obtain one before placing any sales calls
Organized enough to carry several open cases at the same time without losing track

Compensation

This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Compensation is commission-based — no salary or hourly pay is provided. Earnings depend on individual production. If that structure fits your situation, The Wood Agency welcomes your application.
