What You Will Be Doing
- Design & Build: Write clear, maintainable code for web applications and APIs that support care managers and provider networks.
- Own Your Work: Take responsibility for the full lifecycle of your code-from development and testing to deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Collaborate Effectively: Work closely with your teammates, Product, and QA to refine requirements, plan sprints, and deliver high-quality, reliable features.
- Ensure Quality: Participate in code reviews, follow established standards, and help maintain a clean, well-structured, and test-covered codebase.
- Support Operations: Participate in on-call rotations and assist with deployments, troubleshooting, and production issue resolution.
- Contribute to Improvement: Suggest and implement small improvements to tools, processes, or testing that enhance the development experience.
- Learn & Grow: Seek mentorship and learning opportunities to deepen your technical expertise and contribute increasingly to team goals.
What You Need to Apply:
- 2+ years professional software engineering experience building modern web applications
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript and JavaScript frameworks
- Familiarity with building & consuming REST APIs
- RDBMS
- OO programming
- Version Control (Git)
- Ruby on Rails experience OR the desire and ability to quickly learn the basics of RoR so that you can do a basic level technical challenge and pair programming exercise during the interview process
