Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician
Duration: 14 Weeks
Location: Long Beach, CA 90805
Pay Rate: $25 - $30/hour (Depending on Experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician to support the safe and efficient processing of surgical instruments and loaner/consignment trays. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate instrument tracking, sterilization coordination, documentation, and compliance with infection control standards in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process loaner and consignment trays.

• Track instruments through sterilization and return cycles.

• Maintain accurate documentation and instrument traceability.

• Support daily sterile processing workflow and department efficiency.

• Follow infection control, quality, and safety standards.

• Communicate effectively with internal teams and vendors.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Sterile Processing Department (SPD) experience.

• Experience with loaner and consignment trays.

• Familiarity with instrument tracking systems.

• High School Diploma or GED.

• CRCST or CSPDT certification required.

• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
