Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Location: Julesburg, Colorado
Contract Dates: September 28, 2026 – December 28, 2026
Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Days
Setting: Hospital-Attached Rehab Clinic
Candidates: Local & Travel Candidates
Schedule
- Clinic hours: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday
- Prefer 5 days per week
- Will consider 4 days per week
- No weekends
- No on-call
Requirements
- Minimum experience with orthopedics required
- Active Colorado PTA license
- BLS certification required
- Strong ability to work with a diverse patient population
Position Overview
The PTA will work in a rehab clinic attached to the hospital, with approximately 95% of patients being outpatient.
The rehab department offers a variety of treatment options and includes a small fitness center. Treatment modalities may include:
- Cupping
- Dry needling
- Blood Flow Restriction (BFR)
- Other rehabilitation and therapeutic treatment options
Patient Population & Services
The clinic serves a wide variety of patients across all ages and diagnoses.
The rehab team also provides services for:
- Nursing Home (NH) residents located across the street
- Assisted Living Facility (ALF) residents
- Home Health (HH) patients throughout the surrounding community
Community
Julesburg, CO is a very small rural community located approximately 3 hours from Denver, Fort Collins, and Loveland.
This is a great opportunity for a PTA who enjoys working in a rural setting, treating a diverse patient population, and having exposure to both outpatient and additional community-based rehabilitation services.
