CSSC Summer Camp Classroom Aide - (SC Students ONLY)

The Summer Camp Classroom Aide supports instructional activities by assisting teachers with classroom preparation, and general organization. This role helps ensure the smooth operation of daily classroom routines and supports the learning environment of our students.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare instructional materials and classroom resources as directed by the teacher.
• Assist with classroom organization and setup.
• Help implement classroom rules, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
• Supervise students during lunch, recess, and other non-instructional times.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the teacher or CSSC Director that support the classroom's instructional goals.

Reports Structure:

The Summer Camp Classroom Aide reports directly to the Director of CSSC or the Administrative Assistant.

Requirements:

General Expectations

• Always maintain direct supervision of students.
• Use of cell phones during work time is strictly prohibited unless approved by a supervisor.
• Demonstrate responsibility, maturity, and professionalism in all interactions with students, families, and staff.
• Adhere to all school policies, safety procedures, and expectations for conduct.
