Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with insurance defense and assist attorneys with a variety of tasks, including case management, document preparation, client communications, and court filings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, edit, and prepare litigation documents including complaints, motions, discovery, TOCs/TOAs, and appellate filings
  • File and serve legal documents in state and federal courts (CM/ECF, File & Serve)
  • Conduct legal research and cite-check briefs
  • Manage full-cycle e-discovery, including document review, coding, bates labeling, production logs, and database searches
  • Support attorneys during depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trialincluding exhibit preparation, scheduling, logistics, and technology setup
  • Create and maintain case management repositories and organized case files
  • Prepare notebooks for hearings, depositions, and trial
  • Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams
  • Calendar and track litigation deadlines across matters

Qualifications

  • Proven working experience as a litigation paralegal with 5+ years of experience. Defense experience and civil litigation are a plus
  • Recent experience working in Nevada and familiarity with Nevada rules and procedures
  • Proficiency with legal technology and software, including document management systems, and litigation support tools
  • Associate's degree or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program
  • Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules and procedures, practices, etc
  • Highly organized with a proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong writing and communication skills along with attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
  • Committed to maintaining integrity and confidentiality on behalf of clients and the Firm
