Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Service Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment in the field, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of automation systems, electrical wiring, and material handling processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and configure automated systems and equipment at customer sites
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical and mechanical systems
- Repair and replace faulty components in field equipment
- Provide technical support and training to customers on equipment operation
- Document service activities and maintain detailed records of work performed
- Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to address customer needs and improve service delivery
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of automation, electrical wiring, and panel wiring
- Experience with conveyors and material handling systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in the field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer locations 50% of the time
