Our client is seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join their growing engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer with 3-5 years of structural design experience who is looking to work on a variety of commercial and industrial building projects from concept through construction.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and technical skills, experience designing structural systems, and the ability to collaborate effectively with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design of:

- Steel structures
- Reinforced concrete systems
- Masonry structures
- Light-gauge metal framing systems
- Develop structural solutions for commercial and industrial building projects
- Prepare and review structural calculations, reports, and technical documentation
- Produce and review structural drawings using AutoCAD and other design software
- Utilize engineering software, including RISA, for structural analysis and design
- Coordinate project requirements with architects, contractors, owners, and internal team members
- Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, industry standards, and project specifications
- Support projects throughout design, permitting, and construction phases
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical recommendations
- Assist with field observations and respond to construction-related engineering questions as needed
- Contribute to the successful delivery of projects while maintaining quality, budget, and schedule objectives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis, or a comparable engineering discipline
- 3-5 years of structural engineering experience required
- Commercial building design experience preferred
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Strong understanding of structural engineering principles, analysis methods, and building codes
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Technical Skills
- AutoCAD proficiency required
- Revit experience preferred
- Experience using RISA structural analysis software
- Strong knowledge of structural design and detailing practices
- Familiarity with commercial and industrial construction methods
