PATIENT INFORMATION
- Patient Demographics: Adults, OB, and healthy pediatrics
- Average Daily Volume: 30-50 cases
- Case Mix: General surgery, OB (including TOLAC), healthy pediatrics (tonsils/adenoids), conscious sedation; no cardiac or neurosurgery
FACILITY INFORMATION
- No. of Beds in OR: 13
- Trauma Level: Level III
- EMR System: Epic
- Support Staff Available: 6 physicians, 2 CRNAs
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
- Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
REQUIRED PROCEDURES
- General anesthesia
- OB anesthesia (including TOLAC)
- Pediatric anesthesia (healthy, tonsils/adenoids)
- Conscious sedation
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Board: BC
- Licenses: Active IA license or IMLC
- Certifications: ACLS
- Other Qualifications:
- Availability for 2 weeks per month
- Must be available for weeks of Nov 23 and Dec 21
- COVID vaccine required
- Clean background
Duties & Responsibilities
- Evaluate and monitor patient care before and during surgery
- Administer general, OB, pediatric, and conscious sedation anesthesia
- Supervise CRNAs as needed
- Participate in night and weekend call rotations
- Document patient encounters in Epic EMR
