Summary
FCCC is seeking Site Directors for multiple locations. for ensuring consistency and quality of the programs operated by FCCC. The Site Director is in charge of overseeing compliance in regards to Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) Standards for Child Day Centers, Department of Social Services, and with the FCCC standards and operating guides.

Duties
Supervision of Staff
- Model appropriate conduct, teaching style, attire, and language.
- Supervise and evaluate Site Managers, Assistant Site Managers, and Child Care Assistants.
- Conduct evaluations for subordinate staff members.
Compliance
- Ensure centers are following all VDOE standards for licensed child day centers.
- Monitor ancillary programs for compliance at the child day centers.
- Evaluate performance of Site Managers and monitor goal setting and staff development.
- Assist Site Mangers in conducting performance Evaluations for the Assistant Site Mangers and Child Care Assistants.
- Support center staff in meeting their training requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation of training to ensure files are maintained in accordance with VDOE Standards.
- Conduct new-hire orientation for center staff.
- Work at the childcare centers as needed.
Development
- Develop and implement curriculum for the alternate care days.
- Monitor centers self-created curriculum and parent communications.
- Support centers in planning community events.
- Assist in the development of summer camp activities.
- Disseminate program information to parents as approved.
Administrative
- Assist administrative staff in answering phones and assisting parents.
- Assist in the data entry necessary to operate the childcare centers.
- Participate in employee relation committees as assigned by the Executive Director or designee.
- Manage supply inventory and requests.
- Other Duties as assigned.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Associate’s Degree or comparable education or equivalent experience and qualifications in accordance with licensing standards as established by the Virginia Department of Education.
Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite of programs
Ability to successfully pass a background screening
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Frequently move items up to 25 lbs.
- Remain stationary at a desk comfortably while working on a computer, for extended periods of time.
- Able to stand, kneel, bend at knees, squat throughout the day. Constantly positions self as needed throughout day.
- Communicate effectively both in person and by phone.
- Able to work in an outdoor environment for extended periods of time.
