Intern - Quality

About the Role:
The Quality Intern will gain hands‑on experience in how quality systems support a manufacturing environment. This role is designed for students who want exposure to real‑world quality processes, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. Working closely with experienced quality professionals, the intern will contribute to meaningful projects that support product reliability, compliance, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
The intern will assist with reviewing documents, supporting planning activities, gathering and compiling data, and performing basic analysis using tools such as SPC, Gage R&R, and capability studies. Additional responsibilities include helping review and revise procedures, participating in continuous improvement efforts related to calibration, and providing quality‑focused input to internal teams. Interns are expected to follow all company policies, operating procedures, and the Code of Ethics while demonstrating teamwork, accountability, and alignment with the company's mission, vision, and values. The role also includes general support tasks assigned by management to meet department needs.
Qualifications:
Candidates should be in their third or fourth year of study toward a degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications is required. The role demands clear written and verbal communication skills, strong critical‑thinking abilities, and the ability to present organized, understandable work. A motivated, oriented mindset and willingness to collaborate in a team environment are essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
Studies in Lean or Statistics is helpful. The ability to lead small projects and a basic understanding of common manufacturing processes are also desirable. Those with an interest in quality engineering, process improvement, or data‑driven problem solving will find this role interesting.
