Russell Tobin's client is hiring a Healthcare Project Manager in Phoenix, AZ
Employment Type: Contract
Location: Hybrid (1 day in the office - Thursday) - Phoenix, AZ 85021
Pay rate: $60-$65/hr
Responsibilities:
- Plan, direct, and manage projects to meet defined objectives within time and budget constraints.
- Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and document status reports.
- Engage and collaborate with stakeholders and product owners to align on project deliverables.
- Manage projects from initiation to completion, or take over projects mid-flight to course-correct as needed.
- Track progress using project management tools like MS Project, Gantt charts, RAID logs, and SharePoint.
- Deliver presentations and status updates to leadership at various levels.
- Apply PM methodologies such as Waterfall or Agile to ensure timely, quality outcomes.
- Contribute to PMO process improvements and organizational best practices.
- Mentor and guide junior team members when applicable.
Requirements:
- 4-6 years of PM experience in the healthcare industry.
- High School Diploma or GED..
- Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong experience with MS Project Application, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.
- Collaboration, creating buy-in, driving for results, decision-making, identifying and mitigating risks, and professional presence.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on innovation.
- Budgeting and financial management experience.
- Adaptability and perseverance in dynamic environments.
Nice to have:
- Master’s Degree in Business or Information Systems.
- PMP, Agile Practitioner, Lean Enterprise, or Six Sigma.
- Experience with enterprise-wide projects and the healthcare or insurance industries.
