Lead Tree Climber / Crew Foreman
Are you an experienced climber who knows how to run a deck as well as you navigate a canopy? We are looking for a seasoned Crew Foreman to lead our production team. If you have the technical skills to handle complex removals and the leadership chops to keep a crew safe and efficient, we want to talk to you.
The Role
As the Crew Foreman, you aren’t just the top climber; you’re the quarterback of the job site. You will lead the team from our shop each morning, managing the crew and equipment throughout the day to ensure every project is completed safely and professionally.

Key Responsibilities
- Daily Coordination: Report to the shop daily to prep the truck and lead the crew to the job site.
- Lead the Crew: Direct ground support and junior climbers to ensure a smooth, efficient workflow.
- Expert Climbing: Execute high-quality pruning, thinning, and technical removals using MRS or SRS.
- Safety First: Conduct daily tailgates and ensure all PPE and rigging meet industry standards.
- Client Interaction: Act as the primary point of contact on-site, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Equipment Oversight: Ensure the truck and gear are cleaned, maintained, and safely returned to the shop at the end of each shift.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional tree climbing experience.
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage a crew and mentor junior members.
- Technical Skill: Proficiency in rigging, chainsaw operation, and various climbing techniques.
- Driver’s License: Valid license with a clean driving record (required to operate the company truck).
- Certification: An ISA Certified Arborist credential is a plus, but we value your years in the saddle and leadership experience most.
